These times of in-depth study are both encouraging and informative, equipping members to better know and serve God.

Our Mission & Vision

The mission of Lighthouse Community Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to understand that we are all on a journey navigating through life together.  That’s right, TOGETHER, we don’t have to do it alone.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Lighthouse Community Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Lighthouse Community members are involved in a variety of ministries.

Mission Outreach

Lighthouse Community Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers.  We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Lighthouse Community Church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

The greeter team at Lighthouse Community Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The greeter team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of Lighthouse Community Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Lighthouse Community Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers to our Prayer Warriors team, pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.

Children’s Church

In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, Lighthouse Community Church holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons.

How Do I Meet People?

Lighthouse Community Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Lighthouse Community Church.

L.I.F.E. Groups

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Lighthouse Community Church has small bible studies held in member homes and on campus. The size of the group ranges for each study, designated by your group, we encourage you to get connected by finding a small group to get plugged into.

Women’s Group

Lighthouse Community Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, sometimes food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men’s Group

Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Accountability groups are formed among the Men of Light these groups meet together as their schedules allow and keep in touch by email or phone.

Family Fellowship

We believe at Lighthouse Community Church that we are family.  We are children of God who want to grow deeper in our relationship with Christ, and with each other.  For this reason we frequently gather together for family time. This is a great way to get connected.  We share a meal together, have great conversation, and we’ve even been known to break out a Wii for fun.  I hope to see you at our next fellowship.
